| BEST SUPP ACTRESS NOMINATION PREDICTIONS |
|
POST-NOMINATION COMMENTS:
One of the four categories I batted a thousand with, and although it's a shame Maria Bello isn't here, it is great to see Amy Adams - the only acting nominee (in any category) to be the sole nomination for her film.
FINAL PREDICTION COMMENTS:
This is the one category giving me the most difficult time. With only two sure things, there are another five ladies vying for those last three spots (possibly even more). Saying that Scarlett will be a snub (as most are) and Gong Li and Shirley MacLaine are too far gone in the buzz department, that still leaves six actresses and just five slots. Keener, I think should get in, but Bello is definately fallable here (with the whole category confusion of her getting a Lead Globe nomination). Many are saying McDormand, but I am leaving her out for the "surprise" nomination of Amy Adams. Of course if Bello is fallable (and I hope not, she gave one of my favourite performances of the year) then McDormand could still get in. So, in the end, I'll put McDormand in and (sadly) take Bello out. |
