POST-NOMINATION COMMENTS: OK, I never though Q'Orianka would really get in, but I just couldn't bring myself to go the "safe" route. Knightley is probably the closest we had to a surprise Tuesday Morning, but even she wasn't all that surprising. It's still Queen Reese though...for now. FINAL PREDICTION COMMENTS: Let's face it, Reese Witherspoon is going to be crowned the new Queen of Hollywood on March 5th, so no one else need bother with a speech. But as far as the other four spots go, Dench and Huffman are probably sure things and Zhang is flying high on momentuum (even if it is for her most poorly recieved film), which leaves Theron, Knightly, Linney and Allen fighting it out for that number five spot - even Paltrow could sneak in here. But I have some strange feeling that if there are going to be any surprise nominations (a la Keisha Castle Hughes in 2003) then it is going to be in this category. So, with that said, I am going to go WAY out on a limb here and follow my gut reaction (and possibly some wishful thinking) and pick a real surprise for number five. This last minute switch (taking off Theron, who I was planning on picking) may come back to bite me on the ass, especially considering Zhang can be seen as their "token" non-white candidate, and I may only go 4 for 5 here, but if I am right, well then you're going to see me gloat baby!!
