In what may very well be a totally insane attempt at multi-tasking, while I am busily scurrying along in my quest to see TSPDT's 1000 Greatest Films, my progress of which can be seen here, I have decided to take it upon myself to undertake the even more Sisyphean labour of seeing all the films on
Jonathan Rosenbaum's 1000 Most Essential Films List.
At the outset of this quest within a quest, I had seen just a measely 279 of the films on Jonathan's list, which was more than 160 less than on TSPDT's list, but the quest hath been undertaken anyway and below will be posted the ongoing results of that quest, the most recently seen of which will be listed at the top. Have fun, and by all means, do join along by seeing these films yourself. Also, go ahead and drop me a note about how many you have seen at kevynknox@thecinematheque.com.
